A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the

City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:

“On the south side of East Russell Avenue from South Taylor Avenue to South Pine Avenue on school days from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM”

Part 2.  Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:

On the south side of East Russell Avenue from South Taylor Avenue to South Pine Avenue on school days from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Part 3.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of East Newport Avenue from North Frederick Avenue to North Maryland Avenue

On the north side of West Wells Street from North 8^th Street to a point 55 feet east

On the east side of North 73^rd Street from a point 1150 feet south of West Bradley Road to a point 110 feet south thereof

On the north side of West Lisbon Avenue from North 61^st Street to a point 45 feet east

On the east side of South Barclay Street from a point 95 feet north of East Walker Street to a point 100 feet north thereof from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday

On the west side of South 2^nd Street from West Greenfield Avenue to a point 60 feet south

On the south side of East Fernwood Avenue from a point 100 feet west of South Pennsylvania Avenue to a point 30 feet west thereof from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday

On the north side of East Euclid Avenue from South Clement Avenue to a point 45 feet west

In the alley bounded by East Cudahy Avenue(extended), East Layton Avenue, South Pine Avenue and South Lenox Avenue

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On West Lincoln Avenue from South 10^th Street to South 16^th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday”

Part 5.  Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On West Lincoln Avenue from South 10^th Street to South 13^th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday

On West Lincoln Avenue from West Windlake Avenue to South 16^th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday

Part 6.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the north side of East Newport Avenue from North Frederick Avenue to a point 150 feet east thereof from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday”

Part 7.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On West Lincoln Avenue from South 13^th Street to South 14^th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday

On West Fond du Lac Avenue from West Burleigh Street to North 36^th Street from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday

On the south side of West Burleigh Street from West Fond du Lac Avenue to North 36^th Street from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday

Part 8. Section 101-24-1 of the Code relating to Tow-away Zones is amended by adding the following:

On South 6^th Street from West Maple Street to West Lincoln Avenue

Part 9.  Section 101-27-9 of the Code relating to Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:

On South 6^th Street from West Lincoln Avenue to West Cleveland Avenue

On South 11^th Street from West Maple Street to West Windlake Avenue

On South 16^th Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Lincoln Avenue

Part 10.  Section 101-32-3-c-3 of the Code relating to One-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On West Fond du Lac Avenue from North 35^th Street to North 36^th Street from 9:00 Am to 6:00 PM except Sunday”

“On the south side of West Burleigh Street from North 35^th Street to North 36^th Street from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Sunday”

Part 11.  Section 101-32-3-d-3 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:

On West Fond du Lac Avenue from North 35^th Street to North 36^th Street from 9:00 Am to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

On the south side of West Burleigh Street from West Fond du Lac Avenue to North 36^th Street from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
