Body
Whereas, The Inner City Redevelopment Corporation, Inc. ("ICRC") has submitted an Offer to Purchase two vacant, tax-deed lots located at 3334-36 and 3342-44 North 3rd Street in the amount of $2; and
Whereas, ICRC has site and building plan approval from the Department of City Development's Development Center along with a financial commitment for construction of the Sullivan Townhomes in their target area and ICRC is one site short of their Year 2004 goal; and
Whereas, DCD recommends acceptance of said Offer; and
Whereas, Said lots are to be sold in an "as is" condition without representations or warranties including but not limited to soil quality and subsurface condition; and
Whereas, The City Plan Commission has determined that there is no municipal need for said lots; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that two vacant, tax-deed lots located at 3334-36 and 3342-44 North 3rd Street are declared surplus, that the Offer to Purchase from ICRC is accepted and that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as necessary to carry out the intent of this resolution with the proceeds from the sale credited to the Reserve For Tax Deficit Fund Account No. 0001-334106.
