Title

Resolution authorizing an access and utility easement on the City of Milwaukee property at 1900 South Marina Drive in the 14th Aldermanic District. 

Analysis

This resolution authorizes an easement for access and utilities on a City-owned property.

Body

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee is granting an Access and Utility Easement to itself to ensure that 1800 South Marina Drive has access to the public right-of-way, and

 

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has created a 100’ wide by 145.41’ long Access and Utility Easement across the property at 1900 South Marina Drive for the benefit of 1800 South Marina Drive; and

 

Whereas, The Access and Utility Easement was created as part of Certified Survey Map that was recently approved by City of Milwaukee as File No. 200830; and

 

Whereas, A copy of the easement and related map is attached to this Common Council File; and

 

Whereas, The Department of City Development, the City Attorneys Office, and Port Milwaukee have reviewed the easement and recommends approval; now, therefore, bet

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the access and utility easement that the city is granting to itself is approved and the Director of Port Milwaukee, or designee, is authorized to execute the easement.
