Title
Substitute ordinance to establish a Master Sign Program Overlay Zone for land located on the West Side of South 27th Street and South of West Grange Avenue, in the 13th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance establishes a Master Sign Program Overlay Zone and approves Exhibit A relating to sign design standards.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee ("Common Council"), do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances ("Code") a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-1017.0002. The zoning map is amended to establish a Master Sign Program Overlay Zone (MSP) for the area bounded and described by the zoning line within the right-of-way of South 27th Street, a line 530 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Parnell Avenue, a line 443 feet West and parallel to the west line of South 27th Street and the City limits line to the North.
Part 2. In accordance with the provisions of Section 295-1017(2)(a) of the Code relating to the establishment of Master Sign Program Overlay Zones, the Common Council approves the sign program, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File as Exhibit A which is on file in the office of the City Clerk and made a part thereof as though fully set forth herein.
