Analysis

This resolution authorizes settlement of the claim of Larry Fettig in the amount of $8,781.00.

Body

Whereas, The claimant, Larry Fettig, C.I. File No: 07-L-10, has filed a claim against the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $14,635.00; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has agreed to settle the claim in the amount of $8,781.00; and

Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to pay this claim; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $8,781.00, payable to the order of Larry Fettig, in full and final payment of this claim, upon receipt of a release of claims, approved as to form and execution by the City Attorney; said amount to be charged to the Damages and Claims Account 006300 - Fund No. 0001 - Organization 1490 - Program 0001 - Sub Class S118.
