Recommendation of renewal with a 30-day suspension of the Class "A" Liquor and Malt license of Anthony J. Van Dyke, Sr. for the premises located at 2305 N. Holton Street ("Holton Liquor") in the 6th Aldermanic District. Written objections have not been filed by the licensee. (Committee Vote: 5 Ayes; 0 Noes; Expiration Date: 2-28-01).
Recommendation of renewal with a 30-day suspension of the Class "B" Tavern license of Jacob T. Guimond for the premises at 717 N. 16th Street ("Big Shots") in the 4th Aldermanic District. Written objections have not been filed by the licensee. (Committee Vote: 5 Ayes; 0 Noes; Expiration Date: 4-19-01)
Recommendation of renewal with a 15-day suspension of the Class "B" Tavern and Cabaret license of Steven E. Tyczkowski for the premises at 2401 W. Wisconsin Avenue ("The Rave") in the 4th Aldermanic District. Written objections have been filed by the licensee. (Committee Vote: 3 Ayes; 2 Noes; Expiration Date: 4-24-01)
The president questioned whether the members of the Common Council read the Report and Recommendations of the Utilities and Licenses Committee in these matters and any written exceptions, if filed by the licensees?
Ayes: 16 - Ald. D'Amato, Henningsen, Bohl, Johnson-Odom, Gordon, Donovan, Richards, Cameron, Scherbert, Sanchez, Pawlinski, Breier, Nardelli, Murphy, Hines and President Pratt.
Noes: 0.
Excused: 1 - Ald. Herron.
THE CLERK asked whether Anthony J. Van Duke or his counsel were present and wished to address the council.
Neither was present.

THE CLERK asked whether Steven E. Tyczkowski or his counsel was present and wished to address the council.
Both were present.
ALD. HENNINGSEN moved that the Council do now resolve itself into a committee of the Whole for the purpose of hearing from the Attorney for the applicant and City Attorney's Office.
The motion prevailed.
Attorney Michael Whitcomb waived his rights writes and referred to the written exceptions that were filed.
ALD. HENNINGSEN moved that the Committee do now rise.
The motion prevailed.
ALD. HENNINGSEN moved to amend the recommendation by striking the 15 day suspension.
Ayes: 14 - Ald. D'Amato, Henningsen, Bohl, Johnson-Odom, Gordon, Donovan, Richards, Scherbert, Sanchez, Pawlinski, Breier, Nardelli, Murphy, Hines and President Pratt.
Noes: 2 - Ald. Bohl and Cameron.
Excused: 1 - Ald. Herron.
