Analysis

This resolution directs the City Attorney to settle the claim of Stanford Law Offices, S.C. on behalf of Sally J. Ward, relating to losses from the 2019 Hawley Road water main break.  This claim is to be settled in an amount not to exceed 50% of the claimed amount.

 

Body

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Office of the City Attorney is directed to settle this claim in an amount not to exceed 50% of the claimed amount, subject to the claimant signing any applicable releases.
