Substitute resolution relative to various legislative bills.
BODY:
Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following positions on the bills hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matters; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby approves the following legislative bills and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to support such bills and use its best endeavors to have the same enacted into law, viz:
6-S, relating to Calculation of School Aid.
27-SJR, relating to Land Mines.
29-S, relating to Exemption; Governmental Property.
261-S, relating to Exemption; Retirement Homes. CITY BILL
313-S, relating to Ordinance; Tobacco Products.
314-S, relating to Municipal Ordinances; Tobacco Products.
411-A, relating to Burglary.
432-A, relating to Community Living Arrangements.
471-A, relating to Exemption; Building Contractors.
564-A, relating to Sexual Assault.
572-A, relating to Interlock Devices.
1350-S, relating to Preserve State and Local Authority to Regulate Telecommunication Facilities.
3250-LRB, relating to Exemption; Nonprofit Medical Research.

Further Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee is opposed to the following legislative bill and hereby instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees in opposition to said bill and use its best endeavors in opposition to the same viz:
318-S, relating to Mediation-Arbitration.
463-A, relating to Cocaine Moms.
482-A, relating to Alcohol Beverages. (and Refer to Utilities and Licenses Committee)
