Whereas, The claimants, Casey and Terri Bentley, C.I. File No: 06-L-90, through Afni Insurance Services have filed a claim against the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $13,783.08; and
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has agreed to settle the claim in the amount of $9,609.00; and
Whereas, the City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to settlement this claim; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $9,609.00, payable to the order of Afni Insurance Services as subrogee for American Family Insurance and Casey and Terri Bentley, in full and final payment of this claim, upon receipt of a release of claims, approved a s to form and execution by the City Attorney; said amount to be charged to the Damages and Claims Account 006300 - Fund No. 0001 - Organization 1490 - Program 0001 - Sub Class S118.
