Title
Resolution authorizing the jurisdictional transfer of the City-owned property at 1901 South Kinnickinnic Avenue from the Milwaukee Water Works to the Department of Public Works for use by the City Election Commission, in the 12th Aldermanic District.

Whereas, The building at 1901 South Kinnickinnic Avenue is suitable for use by the Election Commission because of its configuration and 24,000 square feet of warehouse and office space and a secure, enclosed loading dock and its proximity to vehicular routes and public transportation; and

Whereas, Continued use by a municipal entity will allow the Milwaukee Water Works to retain a large meter testing facility in the building without interfering with Election Commission activities and will allow a City communications facility and underground conduit to remain without modification that will save relocation and building modification ...
