This resolution confirms the report of the Commissioner of Public Works, as modified by the Common Council Committee, on projects for which Public Hearings have been held. The resolution authorizes the levying of special assessments and directs the installation and construction of said public improvements.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

1st Aldermanic District

W. Atkinson Ave. - N. Teutonia Ave. to N. 27th St. (ST30682201) File Number 960092: Concrete pavement reconstruction. Narrowing to a 38-foot roadway. Replace all curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches where needed, sodding, and grading. (Nonassessable State Aid Fund -- $167,600; Assessable State Aid Fund -- $45,900; State/Federal Grantor Paving Fund -- $128,200; State or Federal Funds -- $726,300)

2nd Aldermanic District

Alley between W. Appleton Ave., W. Beckett Ave., W. Melvina Ave. and W. Vienna Ave. (Northerly 205 feet m/l) (ST21200148) File Number 990052: Concrete alley pavement reconstruction, replace some abutting walk or driveway approaches, storm drainage facilities where needed, and grading.
