- Analysis -
This substitute resolution authorizes and directs the Commissioner of Public Works to make the necessary alterations to the water service connections to the median islands in West Bradley Road from North 124th Street to a point east of North 124th Street at an estimated cost of $4,800. North 124th Street between the USH 41/45 Interchange and Dretzka Park Road is scheduled for improvement in 2000 with Federal/State Aid and a portion of West Bradley Road will be improved as part of that project.

Whereas, The improvement of North 124th Street from the USH 41/45 Interchange to Dretzka Park Road with Federal/State Aid is proposed to be undertaken in 2000; and
Whereas, Several median islands east of North 124th Street on West Bradley Road will be modified as part of the North 124th Street improvement requiring alterations of the water service connections to the concealed irrigation system in the medians; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to make the necessary alterations to the water service connections to the median islands along West Bradley Road east of North 124th Street; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is hereby authorized and directed to transfer, within the Capital Grant and Aids Project Fund, to the water service connections (medians) North 124th Street from USH 41/45 to Dretzka Park Road subaccount the amount of $4,800 but not to exceed a 10 percent increase or whichever is greater, in the amount ...
