Resolution directing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a document titled “State/Municipal Agreement for a State-Let Local Bridge Project” with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) for the rehabilitation of the West Cherry Street Bridge over the Milwaukee River; and to set up funds for design oversight at an estimated total cost of $20,000 with an estimated City Share of $20,000 and a grantor share of $0.
Analysis
This Resolution also authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a Project Agreement with the WisDOT for design oversight of the West Cherry Street Bridge over the Milwaukee River. The State/Municipal Agreement provides for 0 percent Federal aid and 100 percent local cost sharing. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to transfer funds for design oversight at an estimated cost of $20,000 with an estimated City Share of $20,000 and a grantor share of $0. Preliminary Engineering funds of $1,000,000 for this project (BR100210104) have been established in a previous resolution (#201139). Construction funding for this project will be set up at a later date.
