This substitute resolution declares said vacant, tax deed lots surplus and approves their sale by the City of Milwaukee.
BODY:
Whereas, Plennes, Inc., with its property located at 1122 East Holt Avenue, has submitted an unsolicited Offer to Purchase the vacant, tax deed lots from the City of Milwaukee located at 3405, 3407-09, 3411-13, 3415-17 and 3419-21 South Clement Avenue, Tax Roll Key Nos. 539-0458-3, 539-0459-9, 539-0460-4, 539-0461-X and 539-0901-0, containing a total of 19,085 square feet; and

Whereas, Plennes, Inc., has offered to purchase said lots for $25,500 for the purpose of constructing a one or two-story office building with an adjoining parking area; and

Whereas, The Department of City Development has determined that the preliminary building plans are generally acceptable and recommends acceptance and closing of the sale subject to the following contingencies:

1. Submission and approval of final building and site plans, to include parking, and material specifications.

2. Receipt of satisfactory evidence from Plennes, Inc., that sufficient funds are available to undertake and complete the proposed project.

3. Items number 1 and 2 above must be completed before the closing may occur which must be within twelve (12) months from approval of this resolution by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said Offer, the sale of said lots to be consummated in the manner provided for in the sale of other tax deed property pursuant to Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances;...
