Analysis

This resolution grants an easement to the Wisconsin Electric Power Company, for the installation, maintenance, and replacement of underground utility facilities and above ground appurtenant equipment at 5353 South 43^rd Street in the City of Greenfield (Milwaukee Water Works Grange Pumping Station).

Body

Whereas, The Wisconsin Electric Power Company provides electric energy, signals, television, and telecommunication services to the City of Milwaukee owned property at 5353 South 43^rd Street (Milwaukee Water Works Grange Pumping Station); and

Whereas, Said services are currently provided by two underground lines located on said property, which will be abandoned following installation of two new facilities; and

Whereas, The Wisconsin Electric Power Company requires a permanent easement, as shown on Exhibit "A" of the attached easement document, on said property to install and maintain the two new facilities; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that this easement is granted to the Wisconsin Electric Power Company and the City's Commissioner of Public Works and Comptroller are hereby authorized to execute the easement document on the City's behalf, a copy of which is attached to and part of this resolution; and, be it

Further Resolved, That after said easement has been executed by the City's Commissioner of Public Works and Comptroller, it shall be forwarded to the Department of Public Works for further processing.
