This resolution will cancel weed cutting charges placed on the 1998 Tax Roll and transfer the charge to the correct property
BODY:
Whereas, Erroneous weed cutting charges were made against a parcel of real estate in 1998; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that proper city officers are authorized and directed to amend the 1998 Tax Roll by cancelling a total of $183.65 of weed cutting charges against the following Tax Key Numbers:
267-0621-000-7 (also known as 4701-03 W Fond du Lac Av.) - $150.00, and
458-0104-000-8 (also known as 1643-45 S. Layton Bl) - $33.65, and be it
Further Resolved, That proper city officers issue a check to the City Treasurer to cover this amount, and be it
Further Resolved, That the above mentioned weed charges be placed on the 1999 tax rolls by the City Treasurer to the following Tax Key Numbers:
267-0620-000-1 (also known as 4709 W Fond du Lac Av.) - $150,00, and
458-0105-000-3 (also known as 1647 S Layton Bl) - $33.65
and the amount in this resolution is to be charged to Fund Number 001 Org 5650 Prog 39D0 Account 941376; and, be it
Further Resolved, That no interest be paid on the delinquent charge in this resolution.
