Passage of this ordinance will place all lakefront
property in public ownership into a zoning category
that more appropriately reflects its public
orientation.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee
do ordain as follows:

Part 1. There is hereby added to the Milwaukee Code a
new section to read as follows:

Section 295-650(5).0003.

The zoning map is hereby amended so as to change the
zoning for the area lying between the southwesterly
shoreline of Lake Michigan and the area bounded and
described as follows:

Commencing at the point of intersection of the westerly
shoreline of Lake Michigan and a northeasterly
extension of the center line of East Russell Avenue;
thence Southwesterly along the center line of East
Russell Avenue and northeasterly extension thereof to a
point on the center line of South Shore Drive; thence
Southeasterly along the center line of South Shore
Drive to a point on the center line of East Ontario
Street; thence Northeasterly along the center line of
East Ontario Street to a point on the southwesterly
line of South Shore Park, said point also being the
northeasterly terminus of East Ontario Street; thence
Southeasterly along the southwesterly line of South
Shore Park to a point on the center line of East Nock
Street; thence Southwesterly along the center line of
East Nock Street 333.00 feet to a point on the center
line of South Shore Drive; thence Southeasterly along
the center line of South Shore Drive to a point on the
center line of East Estes...
