Analysis
This resolution amends the term of office for each member of the District Board of the Menomonee Valley Business Improvement District, BID #26, from 2 to 3 years.
Body
Whereas, On October 19, 1999, the Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 990931, creating the Menomonee Valley Business Improvement District (BID #26); and
Whereas, This file also contains the “Bylaws of the District Board of the Menomonee Valley Business Improvement District” (Appendix E); and
Whereas, The BID #26 board wishes to change board members’ terms from 2 to 3 years as indicated by a motion approved by the board at its June 10, 2005, meeting; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the “Bylaws of the District Board of the Menomonee Valley Business Improvement District” (Appendix E) in Resolution File Number 990931, adopted on October 19, 1999, are amended as follows:
In Article II, Section 2(a) of the “Bylaws of the District Board of Menomonee Valley Business Improvement District” (Appendix E), delete the word “two” between the words “term of” and “years” and insert in lieu thereof the word “three”.
