This resolution also authorizes the Comptroller to establish and transfer funds to the appropriate accounts for the project. The total estimated cost of the project is $70,000, with an estimated grantor share of $63,000, and an estimated City share of $7,000.

Whereas, A Project Agreement for the installation of traffic signal improvements on West North Avenue at North 7th Street and at North 8th Street under the 2011 Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) was approved by the Common Council under File Number 090888; and

Whereas, The HSIP is intended to reduce the number and severity of vehicle and pedestrian crashes; and

Whereas, The total estimated cost of the project is $49,039.27 for traffic control signal improvements; and

Whereas, $4,903.93 is not reimbursable and is included in the Division’s 2011 Capital Purpose Project/Grant Number ST320110000; and

Whereas, $44,135.34 is reimbursable from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT), and should be earmarked for this project in the 2011 Capital Grant and Aids Projects Fund Project/Grant ...
