Substitute resolution relative to legislative bills.

Body

Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following positions on the bills hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matters; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it supports the following legislative bills and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to support such bills and use its best endeavors to have them enacted into law, viz:

 

AB-111/SB-107                                          Relating to: prohibiting conversion therapy.

 

 

AB-125/SB-121                                          Relating to: housing quality standards loans, granting rule-making authority, and making an appropriation.

 

 

Further Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee takes no position relating to the following legislative bill:

 

LRB-1135                                          Relating to: authorizing a biennial budget procedure for political subdivisions.
