Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2005 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes positions changes to the following departments:
Health Department, Department of Neighborhood Services and Department of Public Works-Water Works.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 040459 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Health Department, Disease Control and Prevention Division, Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic”, add three positions of “Public Health Educators II (X)(F)” and amend footnote “(F)” to read as follows: “To expire 12/31/05 unless the Sexually Transmitted Diseases Grant, available from the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services, is extended”; under “Home Environmental Health Division”, add the title “Asthma Control Program” and one position of “Health Project Coordinator (Asthma)(X)(LLL)”, and add footnote “(LLL)” to read as follows: “To expire 09/30/05 unless the Asthma Care Coordination Grant is extended.”
Under “Department of Neighborhood Services, Construction Trades Division, Plumbing Inspection Section”, delete one position of “Office Assistant IV” and one position of “Office Assistant II”, and add one position of “Office Assistant III”; under “Electrical Inspection Section”, add one position of “Office Assistant III.”
Under “Department of Public Works, Water Works, Plants - North Organization, Electrical and Instrumentation”, delete one position of “Electrical Mechanic”; under “Linnwood and North Production”, delete one position of “Plant Automation Specialist (X)” and add one position of “Water Plant Automation Manager (X)” and one position of “Automated Systems Specialist.”
