Analysis
This resolution amends a lease agreement with T-Mobile Central LLC (T-Mobile) for the placement of personal communications services antennas at the Fire Station at 8814 W. Lisbon Ave which was authorized by Common Council Resolution File Number 001013 adopted on, November 28, 2000. T-Mobile succeeded to the interests of Voicestream PCS II Corporation following the execution of the lease.

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 001013 on November 28, 2000 approving a lease agreement with Voicestream PCS II Corporation for the placement of personal communications services antennas at the Fire Station at 8814 W. Lisbon Avenue; and

Whereas, T-Mobile succeeded as tenant to the lease; and

Whereas, The lease was amended via the adoption of Resolution File Number 120717; and

Whereas, The lease was amended a second time via the adoption of Resolution File Number 170468; and

Whereas, The Department of Administration, working with the City Attorney's Office, has negotiated a third amendment to the lease agreement; and

Whereas, This amendment of the lease agreement between the City and T-Mobile for the placement of personal communications services antennas at the Fire Station at 8814 W. Lisbon Avenue, allows T-Mobile to upgrade its facilities; and

Whereas, The lease agreement offers a fair market value to the City, protects other City interests, and is acceptable to all City participants; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council approves and amends the lease agreement, identified as the "Third Amendment to Lease Agreement," between the City of Milwaukee and T-Mobile for the placement of personal c...
