This substitute resolution satisfies a contract requirement under the Park East Development and Cooperation Agreement. Final plans and specifications need to be approved by the Common Council at a future date.
BODY:
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee ("City"), the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee, and TCR/MRC Joint Venture and the Milwaukee Redevelopment Corporation entered into the December 28, 1989 Park East Development and Cooperation Agreement; and
Whereas, A contractual requirement of the developers under the Development and Cooperation Agreement is to submit to the City for review and approval schematic plans for each of the 9 Blocks of the Project Area; and
Whereas, The developer is seeking approval of the schematic plans for Blocks 7 and 8 of this Project Area; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the schematic plans for Blocks 7 and 8 of the former Park East Freeway Corridor as outlined in Exhibit A, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File, is approved.
