Analysis
This resolution directs the Department of City Development to prepare a resolution which vacates said portion of alley in accordance with vacation proceedings under power granted to the City of Milwaukee by Section 66.297(1), Wisconsin Statutes, and Section 81-308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. This vacation was requested by the Department of City Development to consolidate land for future sale and development of housing.

Whereas, It has been proposed by the Department of City Development that a portion of the East-West leg of alley South of West North Avenue between North 35th Street and North 36th Street be vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 66.297, Wisconsin Statutes; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Department of City Development is directed to prepare a resolution to vacate said portion of alley in accordance with Section 81-308-28 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances.
