This resolution expresses Common Council approval of the Department of Neighborhood Services plan specifying the design of the property database. Common Council approval is required prior to release of $100,000 that was appropriated in the 1999 Adopted City Budget for the database. Common Council approval for the database plan is required by Common Council File Number 981249, adopted on December 18, 1998, which effectuated a 1999 budget footnote. The resolution also authorizes release of the $100,000 appropriated for the database.
BODY:

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Common Council File Number 981249 on December 18, 1998, providing that the $100,000 not be released until the Common Council approves a DNS plan specifying the design of the database system including, but not limited to, decisions regarding access to the data and expansion of the database; and

Whereas, DNS has provided the Common Council with a plan for the design of the database and has requested that the Common Council approve that plan and authorize release of the funds; now, therefore, be it
