- Analysis -

This resolution directs the Department of City Development to prepare a resolution which vacates said right-turn bypass in accordance with vacation proceedings under power granted to the City of Milwaukee by Section 66.297(1), Wisconsin Statutes, and Section 81-308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. This vacation is necessary for the redevelopment of a City-owned parcel.

BODY:

Whereas, It has been proposed by the Department of City Development that the right-turn bypass located at the Southwest corner of West Kilbourn Avenue and North Prospect Avenue be vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 66.297, Wisconsin Statutes; and

Whereas, The vacation of said right-turn bypass is necessary for redevelopment; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Department of City Development is directed to prepare a resolution to vacate said right-turn bypass in accordance with Section 81-308-28 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances.
