This resolution enables the City of Milwaukee to accept a Warranty Deed for said property in lieu of letting the property go tax delinquent.
BODY:
Whereas, The owner of the property at 1651 North 32nd Street has agreed to convey said property by Warranty Deed free and clear of all outstanding 1996 real estate taxes, water and sewer charges; and
 
Whereas, The owner will also reimburse the City of Milwaukee for all razing costs of said improvements; and
 
Whereas, An historical check of the property indicates no past potential uses that would cause environmental concerns; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee authorizes the proper City officials to accept a Warranty Deed conveying the vacant lot at 1651 North 32nd Street free and clear of all liens, encumbrances, back taxes and demolition assessment or charges; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That the proper City officials are authorized and directed to record said Deed with the Register of Deeds of Milwaukee County.
