Analysis

The code currently designates 3 areas of the city where a permit is required for a motor vehicle that is for sale on public property, including streets. This ordinance extends the permit requirement to the entire city.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-29-6 of the code is repealed.

(Note: the provisions being repealed read as follows:

101-29.  Vehicles For Sale On Public Property.

6.  APPLICABILITY.  The provisions of this section shall apply to:

a.  That area of the city bounded by West Pierce Street on the north, South 20^th Street on the east, West Cleveland Avenue on the south, and South 38^th Street on the west.

b.  The area bounded by West Greenfield Avenue on the north, South 6^th Street on the east, West Lincoln Avenue on the south and South 16^th Street, and South Cesar E. Chavez Drive on the west.

c.  The area bounded by West Cleveland Avenue on the north, South 6^th Street on the east, West Oklahoma Avenue on the south, and South 9^th Place on the west.)
