This resolution authorizes acceptance of Underground Conduit Easement UG-39 located at 520 East Summerfest Place, in the 4th Aldermanic District.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee (“City”) requested an easement needed for City Underground Conduit facilities located at 520 East Summerfest Place; and
Whereas, The easement area is in lands owned by 200 Broadway LLC; and
Whereas, The land-owner is willing to grant City Underground Conduit Easement Agreement UG-39 to the City giving the City permission to enter the property to construct, operate, maintain, inspect, repair, enlarge, reconstruct, replace, and relocate, as City deems necessary, the underground conduit and related facilities within the easement area on terms and conditions negotiated by the City’s Department of Public Works, as reflected in the easement documents that have been made part of this file; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officials, including the DPW Commissioner, are hereby authorized: (i) to sign the City Underground Conduit Easement UG-39 in the form and substance submitted to this file (or in substantially the same form and substance as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution); and (ii) to cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
