Analysis
This ordinance requires a motor vehicle dealership to secure all motor vehicle keys in a lockbox at all times when the dealership is not open for business.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 92-3-15.5 of the code is created to read:
92-3. Secondhand Motor Vehicle Dealers.
15.5. KEY SECURITY. All keys to used motor vehicle offered for sale at a business licensed under this section shall be placed in a secure lockbox inside the dealership building at all times when the dealership is not open for business.
