This resolution authorizes the sale of a surplus, vacant, 3.3 acre parcel to A & K Properties. The property would be used for a bus parking and maintenance facility and employee parking.
BODY:
Whereas, The property located at 1003 West Boden Court was declared surplus by Common Council File No. 80-1866; and
Whereas, A & K Properties, or assigns, has offered to purchase said property from the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $99,500 according to the terms and conditions of an Offer to Purchase, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File; and
Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said Offer; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said Offer is accepted and that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as may be required to consummate the sale, the disposition of proceeds and the payment of title insurance preliminary report and other incidental expenses; and that the sale proceeds be credited to Sale of Real Property - Account No. 01-191-9944.
