Body
Whereas, A special privilege resolution, Common Council File Number 971137, was adopted in 1998, to allow the installation of a door that, when fully opened, encroaches into the public right-of-way of West National Avenue in excess of the 12 inches allowable by Section 245-4-8 of the Code of Ordinances at the building known as 701 West National Avenue; and

Whereas, The present owners are Otilio Fernandez and Mercedes L. Fernandez, who have submitted an amending Petition, since this door encroachment requires approval of the Common Council in order to remain; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That Common Council Resolution File Number 971137 is hereby rescinded; and, be it

Further Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Otilio Fernandez and Mercedes L. Fernandez, 2301 West Vogel Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53221 are hereby granted the following special privilege:

To keep, use and maintain one door at the building known as 701 West National Avenue that, when fully opened, will project into the public right-of-way in excess of the 12-inch maximum distance permissible under Section 245-4-8 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances.
