Analysis
This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a State/Municipal Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming and design of North Teutonia Avenue from West Mill Road to West Good Hope Road. The State/Municipal Agreement provides for 80 percent Federal and State aid and 20 percent local cost sharing for preliminary engineering. The total estimated engineering cost of this project is $1,394,650 with an estimated City share of $278,930 and a grantor share of $1,115,720. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to transfer funds for preliminary engineering at an estimated cost of $1,394,650 with an estimated City share of $278,930 and a grantor share of $1,115,720.
Construction funds for this project will be included in future resolutions.

Whereas, A project agreement has been requested and received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to be executed by the City of Milwaukee for the programming and design of North Teutonia Avenue from West Mill Road to West Good Hope Road with Federal Aid under the Surface Transportation Program - Urban (STP-U); and
Whereas, The Department of Public Works shall notify the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee of project cost overruns and changes in scope approved by the Department of Public Works; and
