Resolution approving the Land Disposition Report for the property at 1205 West Mt. Vernon Avenue for sale to Santoro Corporation for development of an office/warehouse for its landscaping business, in the 12th Aldermanic District (Redevelopment Authority).

This resolution will permit the Redevelopment Authority to convey said land according to the conditions in the Land Disposition Report.
BODY:
Whereas, On October 15, 1996, by passage of File No. 960844, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee approved the sale of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee ("Authority") property at 1205 West Mt. Vernon Avenue to the Santoro Corporation, but the buyer could not close until the Authority resolved a property line dispute with the adjoining owner; and
Whereas, On October 14, 1999, the Authority held a Public Hearing on renewing the proposed sale as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and
Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and as a condition precedent to the sale, lease or transfer of land, the Authority submits herewith a Land Disposition Report describing the terms and conditions of the proposed sale; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Land Disposition Report dated October 14, 1999, with respect to the proposed sale of the following described parcel is approved.
