Analysis
This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a 1st Revision State/Municipal Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming, design, real estate acquisition, and construction of North 76th Street (STH 181) from STH 175 to West Grantosa Drive. The State/Municipal Agreement provides for 75 percent Federal and State aid and 25 percent local cost sharing for preliminary engineering. The total estimated cost of this project is $22,525,000 with a City share of $3,692,100 and a grantor share of $18,832,900. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to transfer additional funds for preliminary engineering at an estimated cost of $1,875,000 with an estimated City share of $468,750 and a grantor share of $1,406,250. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to set up funds for real estate acquisition at an estimated cost of $200,000 with an estimated City share of $0 and a grantor share of $200,000. Construction funds for this project will be included in future resolutions.
