This resolution appropriates up to $5,000 from the Economic Development Committee Fund for the Beet Street Fall Harvest Festival.

Body

Whereas, The Beet Street Fall Harvest Festival is an annual family-friendly celebration featuring live music, local food, and retail vendors; and

Whereas, The Festival will take place on the block of S. Wentworth Ave between Potter Avenue and Russell Avenue in Bay View, and will be held on October 5, 2024; and

Whereas, The Festival will be hosted by Cactus Club, Palomino, and Goodkind, and will include a punk rock rummage sale, a maker market, face painting, a juried pie contest, a photo booth, and a music video showcase; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Clerk is authorized to expend up to $5,000 from the Economic Development Committee Fund Special Purpose Account No. 0001-1310-S123-006300 to support the Beet Street Fall Harvest Festival.
