Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has been advised by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) that Federal funding is available for the improvement of traffic control facilities for up to 81 locations under the 2004-2005 Surface Transportation Program-Safety;  now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works (CPW) is hereby authorized and directed to apply for programming and construction of the traffic control improvements at up to 81 locations under the 2004-2005 Surface Transportation Program-Safety.
