This resolution declares vacant lots surplus and authorizes their sale to the Community Development Corporation of Wisconsin for construction of owner-occupied homes.
BODY:
Whereas, The Community Development Corporation of Wisconsin, in cooperation with the National Manufactured Housing Institute, wishes to acquire the following vacant, tax deed lots for $1.00 each to construct three residential units for owner-occupants:

; and

Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the sale of said vacant lots to be consummated in the manner provided for in Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Department of City Development is authorized and directed to sell said surplus, vacant, tax deed lots to the Community Development Corporation of Wisconsin for $1.00 each; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as may be required to consummate the sale; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Commissioner of the Department of City Development is authorized and directed to close the sale upon receipt of site and building plans which are acceptable in terms of architectural detail and neighborhood compatibility.
