Body
Whereas, on November 1, 2022 the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee issued a Request for Proposal to provide economic feasibility services, market analysis, and/or implementation plans related to the creation and/or amendment of tax incremental districts, all on an as needed basis, and received multiple qualified respondents; and
Whereas, the Authority authorized execution of a contract with Ehlers and Associates, Inc. on December 1, 2022, in an amount not exceed $250,000.00 for three years, with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods, for the afore mentioned services; and
Whereas, the Executive Director authorized the first of two one-year extensions, through January 6, 2027, and anticipates authorizing the second of the two one-year extensions barring any unforeseen circumstances; and
Whereas, it is necessary to increase the original amount of the contract to allow for the continuation of the services referenced herein; now, therefore, be it
Whereas, it is the expectation of the Authority that funding of most studies will be paid by developers and businesses seeking financial assistance; and
Resolved, By the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee that the Executive Director is authorized to amend the contract to increase the not to exceed amount by an additional $250,000.00.
