Section 66.608(3)(b), Wisconsin Statutes, requires Business Improvement Districts to submit annual Operating Plans for City approval. This resolution approves the 1999 Operating Plan for Business Improvement District No. 11 (Brady Street Business Area) and authorizes assessments on taxable property within the District.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee ("Common Council") by Common Council File No. 930854, adopted on September 28, 1993, created Business Improvement District No. 11 ("BID No. 11") and approved its first year Operating Plan; and

Whereas, Section 66.608(3)(b), Wisconsin Statutes, requires that the Board of a Business Improvement District submit an annual Operating Plan to the Common Council for its approval; and

Whereas, The Board of BID No. 11 has submitted its proposed 1999 Operating Plan; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the 1999 Operating Plan for Business Improvement District No. 11, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File, is approved; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Treasurer, City Comptroller, Assessment Commissioner, and other affected departments are authorized and directed to collect and disburse the BID No. 11 assessments in accordance with the 1999 Operating Plan; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Board of BID No. 11 is increased in size from five to seven members and that the Mayor is authorized and directed to appoint two members to the newly created places on the Board consistent with the provisions of Section 66.608(3)(a), Wisconsin Statutes; and, be it
