BODY:

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council ratifies the action of the Commissioner of Public Works which granted permission to the United Negro College Fund to hold a run/walk on Saturday, July 19, 1997, commencing at 8:00 a.m. at North Plankinton Avenue and West Wisconsin Avenue and following the route as detailed in Permit Number 39266, issued by the Department of Public Works; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City of Milwaukee shall not be held responsible for any personal injury or property damage in connection with this event.
