Analysis
This resolution grants approval for a driveway approach that is wider than 30 feet for the premises at 432 East Kilbourn Avenue.
Body
Whereas, VJS Construction, the applicant, has submitted a permit application, PWDR-25-00030 to construct a driveway approach expansion at 432 East Kilbourn Avenue in the public right-of-way of North Milwaukee Street; and
Whereas, The driveway expansion will serve a new garage door; and
Whereas, The work will also improve the accessibility of the sidewalk through the entirety of the driveway approach; and
Whereas, The width of the new driveway approach will be approximately 45 feet; and
Whereas, The Department of Public Works, after having reviewed the permit application, has determined that the width of the driveway approach will not be detrimental; and
Whereas, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances Section 115-23 requires that any driveway approach that has a width greater than 30 feet must be approved by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that PWDR-25-00030 is approved.
