After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $575,000 with the total cost estimated to be $4,753,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

1st Aldermanic District

Meaux Park (W. Villard Ave - N. 22nd St. to N. Green Bay Ave.) (SM499240007) Installing Bioswales. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- $30,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $230,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2024 construction season.

N. 31st St. - W. Capitol Dr. to 250’ North of W. Capitol Dr. (SM497240301) Stormwater pond. (Nonassessable Flood Mitigation Fund -- $55,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $1,433,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2024 construction season.

1st and 7th Aldermanic Districts

Harriet Tubman Park (N. 48th St. - W. Glendale Ave. to W. Hampton Ave.) (SM499240008) Installing Bioswales. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- $30,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $140,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2024 construction season.
