Analysis

This resolution transfers $5,000 in funds from the Capital Improvements Planning Account to the Special Engineering and Technical Studies Subaccount No. UR01280041. This subaccount allocation will provide consultant assistance for technical planning studies as the need arises.

Body

Whereas, The Department of City Development continues work on neighborhood residential and commercial analysis and development as well as land use policy development; and

 

Whereas, Technical assistance in these planning activities has often been provided by outside consultants; and

 

Whereas, Funds are necessary to provide for such consultant services as the need arises; and

 

Whereas, The current unencumbered balance in the Special Engineering and Technical Studies Subaccount is insufficient to cover anticipated 2001 needs; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer the amount of $5,000 from the Capital Improvements Planning Account, Account No. UR01280000, to be allocated to the existing subaccount Special Engineering and Technical Studies, Account No. UR01280041, to be used by the Department of City Development, as the need may arise, to support residential and commercial analyses and land use policy development; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the Department of City Development is authorized and directed to enter into such contracts and agreements as necessary to accomplish the intent and purpose of this resolution.
