Currently, owners or tenants of premises serviced by the city cart collection system, are required to return the carts to their proper locations before 10 p.m. on the days they are serviced.  Failure to comply with this provision following notification results in a special charge of $10, and the second and each subsequent failure to comply within a calendar year results in a special charge of $25.

This ordinance increases the special charge for the initial failure to comply with said provision from $10 to $20, and the charge for the second and each subsequent failure to comply within a calendar year from $25 to $35.
