This resolution authorizes and directs the Commissioner of Public Works to make the necessary improvements to the water service connections to the median islands in West Hampton Avenue from North 92nd Street to North 68th Street at an estimated cost of $28,500. West Hampton Avenue from North 92nd Street to North 68th Street is scheduled for improvement in 1998 with Federal Aid.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted Resolution File Number 950706 on September 27, 1995 authorizing and directing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute an agreement for programming and construction of the improvement of West Hampton Avenue from North 92nd Street to North 68th Street with Federal Aid under the Surface Transportation Program; and
Whereas, Several median islands water service connections in West Hampton Avenue will be improved as a part of the street improvement; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to make the necessary improvements to the water
service connections on the median islands along West Hampton Avenue from North 92nd Street to North 68th Street; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is hereby authorized and directed to transfer, within the Capital Grant and Aids Project Fund, to the Water Service Connections (Medians) West Hampton Avenue from North 92nd Street to North 68th Street subaccount the amount of $28,500 but not to exceed a 10 percent increase or $5,000, whichever is greater, in the amount set aside as follows:
