Resolution authorizing the Commissioner of Public Works to issue a permit allowing excavation in the 1800 block of North Commerce Street where the pavement is less than three years old. (Department of Public Works)
ANLS:
- ANALYSIS - This resolution allows a cut in street pavement (North Commerce Street) currently under three year warranty.
BODY:
Whereas, Various utility providers need to serve the housing development under construction at 1801 North Commerce Street; and
Whereas, To provide laterals for public and private utilities one or more open cuts in the street pavement will be required; and
Whereas, The 1800 block of North Commerce Street has been recently paved and is under guarantee; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to issue one or more excavation permits allowing installation of lateral utility connections to property located at 1801 North Commerce Street, said installations required cuts in the guaranteed pavement of the street; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the pavement restoration of the affected street shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications and restrictions established by the Department of Public Works of the City of Milwaukee
