Whereas, The Granville Business Improvement District will host a Kids Pop-Up Event on multiple dates in 2026 at locations including Risen Savior Church on West Brown Deer Road and at The Crossover Center on North 76th Street; and
Whereas, The event will feature many fun activities for children, such as bounce houses, and life-sized chess and checkers; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Granville Business Improvement District’s Kids Pop-up Event is declared an official City event; and be it
Further Resolved, That the Common Council - City Clerk’s Office is authorized to accept and expend contributions for this purpose; and, be it
Further Resolved, That upon receipt and deposit of these funds, the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to establish special accounts within the Common Council - City Clerk’s Budget for the expenditure of the contributions; and, be it
Further Resolved, That all City departments are directed to assist as necessary to make the Kids Pop-up Event successful.
