Title
Substitute resolution authorizing and directing the proper City officers to execute a sewer easement release document SER-1814A for the release of a portion of sewer easement located just west of South 41st Street and approximately 900 feet south of West Morgan Avenue in the Cherokee Point Subdivision.

This substitute resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute a partial sewer easement release document for the release of a portion of a sewer easement.
Body
Whereas, The City obtained sewer easement SE-1814A in 1967 for the construction of sewers; and
Whereas, The City has since redeveloped the area and no longer requires the portion of sewer easement to be released; and
Whereas, On December 4, 2006, the property owners formally requested the partial release of the easement from the City; and
Whereas, By partially releasing the sewer easement, the property owners will be able to develop the property without constructing on a sewer easement; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute partial sewer easement release SER-1814A, said partial sewer easement release is hereto attached and made part of this resolution; and, be it
Further Resolved, That after said partial sewer easement release has been executed by the proper City officers, it shall be forwarded to the office of the City Attorney for approval as to form and execution and then to the Department of Public Works for recording and proper distribution.
