Analysis
This resolution grants a special privilege to Hussein Govani to construct and maintain an exhaust fan duct and sign in the public right-of-way for the premises 2437 West National Avenue.
Body
Whereas, The applicant is requesting permission to construct and maintain an exhaust fan duct in the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, A site visit revealed the presence of a sign in the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, Said items may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Hussein Govani, 1614 West National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53204 is hereby granted the following special privileges:

1. To construct and maintain an exhaust fan duct on top of a 6-inch tall concrete platform projecting 4 feet 5 inches into the east, 15-foot wide sidewalk area of South 25th Street. Said concrete platform, which is 4 feet 6 inches long, is centered approximately 100 feet south of the southline of West National Avenue. Said 32-inch diameter exhaust fan duct is centered on the concrete platform.

2. To construct and maintain a pylon sign in the east, 15-foot wide sidewalk area of South 25th Street. Said sign is centered approximately 1-foot west of the eastline of South 25th Street and 1-foot south of the southline of West National Avenue.

Said above-mentioned items shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services. All necessary permits shall have been obtained prior to the granting of this special privilege.
